I had a lot of feedback about this shoot (to see again here), so thank you! Especially to Kat of Rock’n’Roll Bride for sharing my delirium!
I have received many questions I will try to answer.

How long did I spend on it? Beacause I have others things to do in my life (no I don’t have too much time in my hands!), I had to spread the photos on three days, about 2 hours a day. And a final session of 2 hours for editing. Before that it took me weeks to find and collect all the accessories, to simply prepare the wedding!

LOL
I was also asked how the dolls were standing up? Well all alone! Have you ever tried to stand up a Barbie? It’s a pain! As us, they have a balance must be found at every change of position. Fortunately Ken is a bit more stable (he doesn’t wear heels!), But I had to spend 5 minutes on each pose just to keep them standing up! I can assure that it gaves me few moments of annoyance! LOL

I was also asked if there was an objective on this session? A message? Many have seen in this session a simply delirious thing, the touch of humor of course! Some saw a glance to « clichés » in wedding photography (the shoes photo and the dress etc). Well, they are all right! How to organize a wedding without going through these pictures! Especially because Barbie and Ken are not very talkative, they gave me no indication or guidance … LOL Except for kidding, no particular message to convey.

In retrospect there are many things I wanted to do: mustaches for the photobooth, launched a bouquet, a wedding cake. But I must admit that at the end I could no longer! I had sore knees, back and elbows (imagine I was all fours on the floor to take everything!). But still I rather like the result! :)

Alors j’ai envie de dire: what else ?!
To conclude, I want to say that I’ve seen some people comment that it’s creepy, a lot of others say that’s a genius idea and amazing (thank you!)… In all cases, what was basically a simple delirium has been around the world, I’ve received emails from all around the world, it has been published on dozen websites/blogs, it has been tweeted and shared on facebook thousand times, and above all that… it makes all these peoples smiling! So I want to say: what else?!

It’s fun to stay at the Y-M-C-A! LOL
